DESCRIPTION:Doors 7.30pm\, contra basics lesson at 7.45pm\, dancing until 1
 1pm.\nContrary Faeries arise from Sheffield to delight\, entrance\, and e
 nthral! Sol Loreto-Miller on piano and Joshua Webster on fiddle will whisk
  you away to a world where you can dance forever and forget your troubles\
 , your home\, and the life you lived before.\nCharlie Turner has been dan
 cing and teaching for as long as she can remember\, but a move to San Fran
 cisco transformed her contra dancing and started her calling. Now based in
  Oxford\, UK\, she brings the best of the West Coast to contra crowds\, wi
 th clear\, friendly teaching and satisfying dance selections. She has help
 ed to found two gender-free contra dances (so far): Contrabridge (Cambridg
 e\, UK) and Oxford Contra. She emphasises connection\, fun\, flow and incl
 usivity in dance. Calling will be non gendered\, and either positional (no
  role terms) or with role terms such as Larks and Robins.\nThere is no lic
 ensed bar at this event\, so please feel free to bring your own drinks. Te
 a\, coffee and squash will be available to buy\, and water is freely avail
 able. We don’t use disposable glasses\, so feel free to bring your own\,
  or purchase an Oxfolk one at the event.\n\n\n\nTickets and Payments\n- St
 andard £14 on the door or in advance\n- Concession (eg unwaged\, low inco
 me\, students\, pensioners) - £10 on the door or in advance\nWe don't ask
  for proof of concession: if you can't afford to pay the standard price\,

 ity and need a personal assistant so that you can enjoy an evening at Oxfo

 ot use flashing lights.\n\n 	\nThere is a quieter area in the lobby\, whic
