The winter season, whilst often cold, can be thawed by heart-lifting music that includes polyphonic, unaccompanied carols from Yorkshire and beyond, and tunes that make you want to dance. Throw into the mix a few irreverent songs about pheasants and other seasonal fare, and you’ve got a show that’ll thaw your icicles and warm your inglenooks. Performing on fiddles, viola, hammer dulcimer, diatonic accordion, hurdy gurdy and more, with Jo Freya, Fi Fraser, Sarah Matthews and Doug Eunson.

“My favourite, favourite Carol Singers” (Natalie Wheen, Classic FM)
